DISTRICT 2 ALL-STAR TOURNAMENTS
Both the 13 and 14 year-old All Star teams will be competing on Thursday and Friday, July 2nd and 3rd, 2009, in district tournament games against Valley Babe Ruth. The format will be a best of three game series. The 15's have advanced to the State Tournament the weekend of July 16-20, 2009.
The 13's are playing at VanDuyn (Valley's field) and the 14's are playing at North Syracuse Junior High School.
The 14 year -old games are scheduled for 5:30pm Thursday, July 2nd and 11:00am Friday, July 3rd, with a third game Friday, July 3rd, at 2:00pm, if needed.
The 14's won last night's rain soaked game 2-1, then went on to win 4-3 in this morning's 11 am game-no need for a 3rd game so we can all go to VanDuyn to watch the 13 year old all-stars. Congratulations to the 14 year old All-Stars - next stop Corning-Painted Post on July 16-18, 2009
The 13 year-old games are scheduled for 3:00pm and 6:00pm Friday, July 3rd, with a third game on Saturday, July 4th at 12 noon, if necessary.
The 13 year old All-Stars lost the first game 5-3, but came back in the 2nd game to win 3-1, tying the series a one game apiece. Final game will be played tomorrow at VanDuyn at 12 noon. Good luck and keep playing well.

Board Meetings are usually held the 2nd Sunday of each month at the North Syracuse Community Center at 6:00 P.M. The next meeting will be on Sunday, 7/12/09. All are invited.
